Hik-Connect Persönlicher Modus

When you type a natural search request like, “Show me the front door last night,” here’s what happens:

1. Your request travels safely to an intelligent AI Agent running on secure AWS cloud servers.

2. The AI Agent interprets your intent and extracts key details such as time, location, and camera information.

3. Only the processed search parameters are sent to your local NVR device.

4. Your NVR then performs the actual video matching on-premises, keeping your footage exactly where it belongs.

5. The system encrypts any matched video clips before transmitting them directly back to you on Hik-Connect 6.

This architecture ensures that you benefit from powerful AI-driven search capabilities while maintaining complete control over your video content.

Hik-Connect Team Mode

For businesses and larger installations, Team Mode offers three specialized search capabilities that adapt to different organizational needs.

If you only mention a time or date, instead of searching a particular object, the system searches an index (a kind of “video event catalog”) stored securely in Elastichsearch (an open-source, distributed search and analytics engine built for speed, scale, and AI applications), to quickly locate clips from specific timeframes without exposing the actual footage.

If your search mentions a particular object (like a person or item),it works just like Personal Mode—sending search criteria to the device to find matching footage.

When you include details about people or vehicles, the system can identify matching content using secure cloud-based indexes—even if your NVR doesn’t have AcuSeek enabled. This feature requires compatible devices that support person and vehicle detection.

All your video data stays protected, and only the thumbnails and clips that you must see reach your device securely.
