  • The Technical Trainer North of England within Hikvision UK Limited plays a pivotal role in the training of integrators, distribution partners or end users. To ensure that the best application of products and solutions are delivered using Hikvision products. This also ensures that Hikvision business performance and reputation are healthy to help create sustained business growth.

    The key attributes and expectations of a good Trainer is :

    • Experience delivering presentations and training to small and large groups of people
    • Technical expert of Hikvision products and solutions

    Hikvision UK therefore requires the Technical Trainer North of England to provide a comprehensive training role utilizing the training centres in Doncaster, Glasgow & Manchester with field based training visits when required, always acting as the technical ambassador of the company and brand delivering the following key tasks -

    • Delivering training on the following subjects HCSA, iVMS4200, HikCentral.
    • The trainer will respond to correspondence and queries from customers and are dealt within an effective and prompt manner.
    • Writing and delivering bespoke courses
    • Identifying and supporting the training and development needs within partners and customers through sales team request and regular consultation.
    • Provide coaching and professional development to team-members in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen and technical sales skills.
    • Assisting in designing and expanding training and development programs based on both the organisation’s and the individual's needs.
    • Deliver and support demonstrations, training, exhibitions or roadshows relating to Hikvision products and solutions.
    • Maintain and develop the companies adopted CRM system ensuring all data relating to customers, projects and support tickets are accurate and up to date.

    Attend regular training meetings to maintain and further develop new relevant knowledge and skills based on the market and the company’s products and solutions.

  • The Business Development Manager will be a strong networker and a proven salesperson in sourcing new business / developing existing customers, must be experienced in the electronic security market. The job holder will work with integrators, end-users, specifiers, and distribution partners to enhance Hikvision and reputation business performance and ensure healthy sustained growth.

     

    Job Responsibilities

    • Promote Hikvision products and services to new business partners and develop existing clients in the M4 Corridor/Southern England region, including systems integrators, installers and end users.
    • Engage with business partners to introduce the benefits of the Hikvision Value Added Solution Partnership Program and get their approval to actively engage in the program.
    • Follow up new business opportunities and arrange meetings with business partners.
    • Planning and preparing presentations to business partners and other interested parties.
    • Communicate product features, benefits and developments to business partners.
    • Actively support marketing events and attend exhibitions related to Hikvision products and solutions.
    • Actively encourage the specification of systems to include Hikvision products and solutions.
    • Provide management with feedback based on requirements of current and future Hikvision products and solutions.
    • Assist with the development of market strategies for Hikvision products and solutions.
    • Deliver product and commercial education and training in collaboration with business partners.
    • Work closely with branded product distribution partners to fulfill the business partners’ requirements.
    • Provide accurate and timely reports in support of your role or for management requirements.

  • Technical Support Engineers within Hikvision UK Limited play a pivotal role supporting distributors, integrators and installers and ensuring that difficulties and problems with Hikvision products and solutions are resolved in a timely and appropriate manner. An ideal candidate will be a good communicator who has a good understanding and a strong interest in technology and is looking to develop their career in the technical industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide support via phone and e-mail to distribution partners and installers in UK & Ireland on Hikvision products efficiently and accurately.
    • Research and explain possible solutions and/or alternatives; ensuring that clients feel supported and valued and their needs are addressed whilst adhering to all company policies and procedures.
    • Help and support with testing products; and report the results to your line manager.
    • Maintain and develop the company’s CRM system by insuring all data relating to customers and support tickets are accurate and up to date.
