May 31, 2017—Hikvision, the world’s leading supplier in innovative, award-winning video security products and solutions, today announced its DS-2TD4035D-25 Bi-Spectrum Thermal PTZ Camera System has been named the 2017 ESX Innovation Award winner in the video security category.
"The ESX Innovation Awards recognize innovative technology and excellence in the industry—and identify next-gen products and services that offer significant opportunity for growth and relevance in servicing the marketplace," said ESX chairman George De Marco.
Hikvision and the other ESX Innovation Award winners were chosen by a panel of security industry professionals who judged the products based on features and functions; innovation; end-user experience; ability to solve a problem; revenue growth potential; impact on company value and efficiencies; and compliance with regulations.
Hikvision’s award-winning camera will be featured in the ESX 2017 Innovation Awards Showcase. The ESX security show will take place June 13-16 in Nashville, Tenn.
As an Innovation Award winner, the Hikvision camera will also compete in the ESX TechVision Challenge, a live Shark Tank-style competition, judged by industry experts, which will be held on June 13 at ESX 2017. David Stanfield, Hikvision product manager, Solutions Products, will represent Hikvision at the event. The winner of this challenge will be crowned Best of Show on June 14.
"We want to thank the ESX panel of industry experts for recognizing Hikvision with this prestigious award,” said Jeffrey He, president of Hikvision USA Inc., and Hikvision Canada Inc. “We think the DS-2TD4035D-25 Bi-Spectrum Thermal PTZ Camera System is a perfect example of Hikvision’s commitment to our integrator partners who need high-end enterprise-level products that meet the most demanding requirements.”
The DS-2TD4035 Series Network Bi-Spectrum Thermal/Optical PTZ Camera Systems feature a high performance 384x288 thermal imaging camera, with 25mm or 50mm lens option, combined with a 2MP CMOS true Day/Night camera with 30x zoom lens and 150 meter infrared illumination to improve the lowlight performance of the CMOS sensor. These systems’ advanced analytics include: line cross; intrusion detection; region entrance/exit; temperature-exception alarms and fire detection. The true power of these systems is the Smart Tracking feature that uses the thermal sensor to capture targets in any lighting condition, while the visible light camera zooms to provide additional information that the thermal sensor cannot provide, and it’s all in one easy-to-install package.
