The innovative video recorders come equipped with an integral positioning module, supporting GPS and other navigation satellite systems. Depending on the selected setting, these recorders will automatically choose the most efficient system to ensure pinpoint vehicle tracking.

A-GPS harnesses the power of both GPS and cellular positioning, offering robust tracking capabilities. It uses base stations to transmit navigation satellite messages to the positioning chip, effectively eliminating the issue of long location-search times typically associated with cold starts.

Location-based Services (LBS)

With the ability to leverage single or multiple base station positioning, the potential loss of positioning data is limited to no more than 20 seconds. Moreover, the advanced Kalman filtering algorithm assures seamless alignment between positioning data and mapping information.

History trajectory and mileage statistics

  • Accurate mileage statistics in the GPS reports using Kalman filtering algorithm
  • Video playback and historical trajectory display on the GPS map in the event of an incident
  • Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) for GPS data within seven days

Speed management ensures operational safety

  • Using GPS receivers and four or more satellites to realize Doppler observation for speed measurement
  • If the vehicle's speed exceeds the threshold, an alarm is sent to the security center

Geofencing alerts keep vehicles within preset boundaries

  • Setting prohibited and permitted areas and verifying exact vehicle location
  • Fence Crossing Detection automatically notifies security personnel when a monitored vehicle crosses a predefined boundary
