It costs less than half the previous system, is highly functional, and has a rugged design. The DS-K1T502DBWX-C terminal is made from durable zinc alloy materials and has a vandal-proof and waterproof protection rating, ensuring durability in the face of vandalism.
The Vandal-Proof Access Terminal provides seamless access control for multi-unit residential applications and hosts a video camera at the top to capture footage, aiding in monitoring and deterring unwanted behavior. “It’s a rugged device that withstands any vandalism and provides reliable security for the substantial number of units at the Landover Hills apartments, protecting residents,” said Leatham.
The vandal-proof access control terminal integrates both access control and intercom functions into a single device, supporting multiple authentication methods such as card and PIN codes. Area Probe Systems installed over 65 terminals alongside over 150 Hikvision video security cameras, utilizing a mix of dome and bullet cameras with ColorVu technology. This proprietary feature enhances details in full color even at night, ensuring critical details are captured for forensic evidence.
Through HikCentral Professional, building management can effortlessly view video footage and download clips, facilitating collaboration with law enforcement in the event of an incident.
