The security system included 30 Hikvision cameras strategically placed throughout the facility in hallways, classrooms, the gym, the kitchen, and outdoor spaces. The IAV team employed a 32-channel DS-7732NI-I4 plug-and-play NVR for video storage for a month of continuous recording with H.265 video compression.
IAV integrated the HikCentral video management system (VMS) using PoE switches to manage the security system effectively. Various Hikvision security cameras, including dome, turret, and bullet cameras, were used. These featured advanced technologies like Virtual Corridor Mode and DarkFighter, ensuring high-quality images in various lighting conditions.
The system also included 4-door controllers that secured around 50 doors within the facility. This access control system and encrypted communication data ensured authorized entry for residents and staff to enhance security overall. One notable feature of this system was the 13.56 MHz M-Card Key Fobs for authorized entrance and convenience for residents. IAV's expertise extended to the installation and design of conduit work, which saved time and added value to the project.
