New Threat Report Outlines 9 Security Concerns

Hikvision Covers Coronavirus Phishing Scam Security Concerns, Offers Insights to Use Network Segmentation to Prevent Hacks

Security magazine outlined nine cyber threats and concerns from a new released report, “Threat Horizon 2022,” in a recent article.

The report was released by independent cybersecurity member organization, Information Security Forum (ISF).

“The Threat Horizon is unique in that it is the only annual report that looks forward two years to predict the threat landscape while rigorously reviewing the past three years of predictions. In this way the reader is provided not only with a degree of confidence in the threats, and more importantly the mitigating actions to combat such threats, but also with an update on the veracity and accuracy of the predictions,” said Steve Durbin, ISF managing director, in the article.

Themes outlined in the report included:

Attacks on the digital world will impact the physical world as technology disrupts everyday life.

A predicted crisis of trust “between organizations, employees, investors and customers will undermine organizations’ ability to conduct digital business,” said the article.
