Education and outreach are pillars of the Hikvision Cybersecurity Team’s mission. In addition to vigilantly addressing cybersecurity threats, the team works with business partners and industry organizations to establish industry standards and promote cybersecurity best practices.

    Manager of Global Cyber defense at the Hershey Company

    Numerous certifications including CISSP-ISSAP

    Adjunct professor of Computer Science at the University of Denver

    Co-authored two books

    Seven U.S. Patents and three patents-pending for cybersecurity inventions

    Fred Streefland brings 28+ years of experience in the public domain

    (Intelligence Service) and private domain.

    Previously held several CISO positions and developed a CISO methodology

    Experienced in Zero Trust, Risk Assessments and Incident Response

    Key interests include GDPR, compliance and ISO/IEC 27001 standards

    Experienced security advisor within OT technology and the ICS/SCADA domain

    Thorough understanding of public and private sector SOCs

    (Security Operations Centers)

    Keynote speaker, guest lecturer at University of Leiden/Delft (CSA) and official spokesman
