2. If you are an installer or professional service provider , please submit password reset/unbind cases through Hik Partner Pro.

How to get the .XML file？

To pull the .xml from a Hikvision camera or recorder with SADP, first launch the SADP Tool on a PC that shares the same network as the device. SADP automatically lists every Hik‑device it finds; click the checkbox for the unit you need. On the right‑hand pane (towards the bottom of the screen) press Forgot Password . A window will appear. Click on Export Device Feature Code File. Choose a destination folder, and confirm. SADP immediately saves an .xml file to that folder, ready for submission through our Password Reset Portal.
