Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, one of the leading private universities in Indonesia, has decided that it’s high time to embrace digital transformation, and enhance the educational experience for both students and teachers with interactive flat panels.

The university replaced traditional whiteboards with advanced Hikvision interactive flat panels in 40 classrooms. These intelligent screens transform the way of board writing by making it efficient and convenient for teachers to explain things with annotation while presenting relevant materials. The screens also help teachers to give full play to their teaching ideas by presenting multi-media content, highlighting bullet points, recording, saving, and sharing lessons and content, engaging students in group activities, and more.

The Windows Operating System plug-in enables teachers to download third-party teaching software to the digital panels, and run multiple applications simultaneously during a class, so that inspiring and interesting content is shared easily. With built-in 8MP cameras and microphones, the interactive displays also help teachers to connect remote students, allowing them to access classes via live stream or view recordings of classes at a later time.
