Position summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist has a strong understanding and demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, as well as web architecture, development, usability, and optimization. Experience managing multiple domains and sources of content will be beneficial in this role. The individual will plan, create, edit and post website content ensuring the website remains current and relevant. The Digital Marketing Specialist will develop digital marketing plans and implement marketing campaigns through digital channels including e-mail and website. This person will report to the Marketing Manager for Hikvision Canada.
Essential job functions
- Spearhead website management (functionality, updates, landing pages, optimization, online forms)
- Manage Hikvision Canada’s Digital Showroom
- Work with product/solution managers and content creative team to create web pages
- Manage and launch new digital tools for sales team and customers together with HQ team
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure Hikvision's Canadian website align with company marketing initiatives and strategies
- Provide recommendations for web and digital marketing strategies to ensure continuous improvement of online presence, create comprehensive plans, and execute aligning with company objectives and goals
- Oversee planning/implementation of digital marketing campaigns (SEO/SEM, email marketing, etc.) across all digital networks
- Evaluate website and digital marketing metrics, identify end-user patterns, and prepare performance reports
- Make recommendations for enhancing effectiveness and improving marketing KPIs such as click rates, conversions, and engagement, and work with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requests for digital support and implement appropriate solutions
- Coordinate web migration project with headquarters team, developers and IT; identify scope and requirements, create project briefs and timelines, and oversee execution
- Provide general department support for tasks as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in web administration, computer science, marketing or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in the technology industry, preferably electronics security
- B2B marketing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Knowledge of web analytics, SEO/SEM techniques, and digital marketing trends
- Strong understanding of best practices in website architecture and development, including experience user experience and optimization
- Strong understanding of company and product marketing concepts, principles, and best practices
- Experience working with tools/software to create and edit videos preferred
- Experience in responsive web design preferred
