For fire prevention purposes, we recommend -T models with temperature range: -20°C to 550°C (-4°F to 1022°F), and temperature accuracy: Max (±2°C, ±2 %). For T series cameras, a higher temperature threshold can be configured to avoid false alarms. The Shield region can also be used to cover the area or object with higher temperatures which might may cause an unexpected alarm.
With the fire source detection algorithm embedded on thermal channel, the camera is capable of locating the suspicious heat source, comparing if the temperature difference between the target and environment exceeds the threshold.
