Hikvision Solution Partner, Irida Labs, has launched a new platform which enables non-experts to deploy AI models directly onto Hikvision cameras

July 10th 2024 - Hikvision Solution Partner, Irida Labs, has announced a new version of PerCV.ai optimized for Hikvision cameras. The new platform enables non-expert systems integrators and security installers to deploy sophisticated, ready-to-use AI models directly onto Hikvision’s HEOP 2.0 devices, such as the DeepinView Series cameras, and create new AIoT-based revenue streams. 

 

The new release greatly simplifies the process of turning Hikvision cameras into sophisticated AIoT sensors. After connecting the device to the PerCV.ai web interface, users can select their chosen application from a wide range of off-the-shelf AI solutions. 

 

Irida Labs has two suites of pre-built applications to choose from. The Industry 4.0 Suite includes applications for counting parcels, reading gauges, QR scanning, PPE monitoring, and detecting forklift truck movements in warehouses. The Smart Cities & Spaces Suite, meanwhile, enables security cameras to monitor parking sites, detect pets, or the occupancy of a car. 

 

Alternatively, customers can simply – and without any background knowledge of machine learning or edge computing – train their own custom AI models to create and deliver highly bespoke AI solutions at the edge.

 

The new version of PerCV.ai enables integrators and security companies to easily and credibly sell intelligent edge devices for use in existing corporate solutions, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. 

The product launch coincides with the promotion of Irida Labs to become a Solution Partner in Hikvision’s Technology Partner Program (TPP). This recognizes the company’s commitment to delivering innovative and integrated solutions using Hikvision’s cutting-edge technologies.
