    General Description:  The Business Development Manager (BDM) drives revenue growth and expands Hikvision’s presence in NSW across key verticals. This role requires strong technical knowledge of Hikvision solutions and experience in solution selling (CCTV, Alarms, Access Control, VMS, LED signage). The ideal candidate will build strategic relationships with system integrators, installers, consultants, and end users, and have deep market understanding in sectors such as retail, industrial, residential, education, government, hospitality, healthcare, and logistics.

     

    Qualifications, Skill & Experience (Essential):  

    • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the electronic security industry
    • Strong technical understanding of CCTV, Intercom, Alarm, Access Control, LED/Digital Signage, and VMS
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals
    • Existing relationships with integrators, security service providers, and end users
    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Fluent with Word, Excel, Power Point and other IT tools/software
    • Strong planning, time management, and self-leadership capabilities
    • CRM experience and data-driven sales discipline
    • Willingness to travel frequently within NSW and occasionally interstate

    General Description:  The Business Development Manager (BDM) is the primary owner of sales revenue and business growth within the assigned territory and product portfolio. This role is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning Hikvision’s solutions to drive long-term value. The BDM plays a key role in expanding Hikvision’s market presence, achieving sales targets, and delivering high-quality outcomes aligned with quarterly KPIs.

     

    Qualifications, Skill & Experience (Essential):  

    • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within Security, IT, Telecommunications, or AV industries; candidates from renewable energy or FMCG backgrounds will also be considered.
    • Strong technical understanding of CCTV, Intercom, Alarm, Access Control, LED/Digital Signage, and VMS solutions.
    • Experience working with integrators, security service providers, and enterprise end users will be highly regarded.
    • Experience managing a portfolio of 20+ key accounts and demonstrated success in developing new clients.
    • Familiarity with the mining, construction (builders), and retail chain sectors in Western Australia will be an advantage.
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Fast learner with strong product comprehension and the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems, with a data-driven sales approach.
    • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented
    • Willingness to travel frequently within Western Australia and occasionally interstate.
    • Familiarity with Hikvision products and solutions is a plus.

    Responsibilities and Duties:  

    • Provide product tech support to customers and record each case in IT system
    • Provide quality project pre-sale support such as selecting products, on-site support, requirements collection and analysis, designing solution, PoC support and product/solution demonstration.
    • Troubleshoot to ensure all customers’ issues are resolved timely
    • Provide technical training to technical team of distributors
    • Provide product promotion to customers regularly including new feature and new product promotion, marketing activity and training
    • Assist product team and channel sales to release new products to distributors on schedule
    • Provide project delivery and maintenance support including installation guide, function demonstration, operation guide and issue resolving service etc.
    • Deliver a professional level of service at all times
    • Collect and handle product requirements and business opportunity from customers
    • Manage RMA cases and process
    • Compile various technical documents based on cases and work experience
    • Prepare correspondence and/or reports as required
    • High quality achievement based on quarterly KPI plan

     

    Qualifications, Skill & Experience (Essential):  

    • Fluent in English, Additional fluency in Mandarin language would be an advantage
    • Strong IT/Network skills and be action-oriented with good hands-on ability

    Responsibilities and Duties:  

    • Serve as the initial point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or chat, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanour.
    • Gather information from customers regarding their cases, follow the process to ask pertinent questions to accurately diagnose problems, and document details in the support ticketing system.
    • Recognize when an issue is beyond the scope of Level 1 support and escalate cases to Level 2 support or relevant departments, provide necessary information to ensure a smooth transition
    • Contribute to the knowledge base by documenting common issues and solutions, as well as creating guides and FAQs to assist both customers and support staff.
    • Work closely with team members to share knowledge, provide peer support, and ensure consistent service delivery.
    • Proactively manage and promptly return calls that were abandoned, ensuring customers feel supported and their concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
    • Contribute to quarterly key product promotion activities and other critical company initiatives, contributing to brand awareness and good reviews.
    • Other ad hoc duties as required

     

    Qualifications, Skill & Experience (Essential):  

    • Graduates or junior Engineer with E&E, IT / ICT etc. Engineering major
    • A good working knowledge of IT tools/software

    Ability to:
