For instance, if an access point goes offline, its status will be displayed as "offline" on the app. Installers can remotely reboot the access point and address issues swiftly without needing on-site visits.
The upgraded access points now support captive portal setup, guest Wi-Fi isolation, and one-click network optimization tailored to meet specific customer needs.
Users can easily set up captive portals, customizing access types, authentication methods, and key variables such as login duration and customer type—ideal for hospitality businesses. The portal page design can also be personalized to create a welcoming guest experience. Users can also quickly isolate guest Wi-Fi from internal networks with a single click, ensuring secure external access while protecting internal VLANs. Additionally, one-click network optimization minimizes interference and eliminates signal blind spots for optimal performance.
Wi-Fi 6 technology and intelligent roaming also facilitate a seamless Wi-Fi experience, ensuring fast and stable connectivity anytime, anywhere.
Hikvision's access points—along with switches, routers, and other networking products—can be seamlessly integrated with the rest of a customer's security system to create a unified infrastructure.
