Hikvision’s Fall Detection Radar uses harmless millimeter wave sensors to detect human posture changes without making physical contact or the hassle of wearable devices. If someone falls, the radar will send an alarm immediately to alert healthcare workers to respond quickly and reduce risk of personal injury.
The Fall Detection Radar can be installed in living spaces including bathrooms. It provides round-the-clock protection while maintaining privacy with no images or videos recorded.

Hikvision’s Auxiliary Care Radar can detect respiratory rates, heart rates, and movement when residents are in bed. These health data are available on HikCentral Professional management software which provides key information for caregivers to identify issues in the early stages.
Analyzing sleep quality according to breathing rates and movement of residents at night with algorithms helps caregivers provide timely assistance to at-risk residents.
Detection of an elder’s time in and out of bed helps, too. If the elder does not return to bed within the preset period of time, an alarm will be sent to HikCentral Professional users at the nursing station, preventing elders from being unwell or unconscious for extended periods without a caregiver’s notice.
