This ultra-low temperature functionality is nearly a 40 percent improvement over previous models, and exceeds most other manufacturers. Featuring a new technology and design, the camera sensor and sensor components are heated to prevent low temperature failure, enabling surveillance in low temperatures and freezing conditions. The camera also provides front glass heating and defog capability, further enhancing image quality in extreme conditions.
In addition to extreme environmental challenges, the DS-2CD5A46G0-IZ/UH provides improved video quality with smooth streaming. Varied network conditions can affect video quality. Poor network conditions can be mitigated by adapting to the detected real-time network condition. Its streaming bitrate and resolution are automatically adjusted to avoid mosaic and latency in live view mode. In multi-player network conditions, the camera transmits redundant data for self-error correcting in the back-end device to solve the mosaic problem due to packet loss and error rate.
