September 7, 2021 - Hikvision has won PSI magazine’s CCTV Product of the Year award for its Pro Series Mini Bullet Camera with 8MP and ColorVu technology in the 2021 PSI Premier Awards. This is the sixth consecutive year that Hikvision has won the magazine’s coveted reader-voted CCTV Product of the Year prize.
The DS-2CD2087G2-LU Pro Series Mini Bullet with 8MP and ColorVu technology features high-quality, 8MP resolution, along with ColorVu technology for 24/7 full colour images. It also includes AcuSense technology for automatic human and vehicle target classification and reduced false alarms, as well as an in-built microphone for real-time audio security.
The Pro Series Mini Bullet Camera utilises efficient H.265+ compression technology to provide high-quality images while preserving bandwidth, and its 130dB WDR technology means clear pictures can be obtained even in strongly backlit scenes.
The PSI Premier Awards are run by PSI magazine and voted for by readers. The awards recognise innovation and the highest achievers the security industry has to offer.
Justin Hollis, Hikvision UK & Ireland Marketing Director, said the company was overjoyed to receive the award.
“It’s always special to be recognised in the PSI Premier Awards, and to win CCTV Product of the Year for six years running is just phenomenal,” he said. “It means so much because the awards are voted on by the readers who use these products every day – so they know what they’re talking about!
“Our six years of CCTV product success is a testament to Hikvision’s commitment to innovation and investment in R&D, and to all the hard work put in by our product development teams.”
