June 24th 2021 - Hikvision has launched a new dedicated UK Technology Partner Programme for vendors, offering software, hardware, and applications complementary to Hikvision solutions. The Technology Partner Programme (TPP) provides members with access to tools and resources to help serve their customers better and enables them to deliver solutions to grow their businesses.

The new programme allows vendors to tap into Hikvision’s wealth of technical research and development capabilities and opens up commercial opportunities and marketing resources, backed by Hikvision’s extensive expertise and support.

Sawyer Tao, will lead the new UK Technology Partner Programme. “With the new UK TPP, we want to offer our technology partners support and integration services specific to the UK market,” she explains. “We have dedicated R&D resources in the UK which our partners can take advantage of, and we can together offer enhanced products and features to UK clients which are designed to address their precise requirements.”

The UK Technology Partner Programme provides access to the Hikvision Partner Ecosystem, a collaborative marketplace which brings together technology partners, installers and integrators, and distributors.

Hikvision’s UK TPP is a three-tiered programme offering increasing levels of integration and engagement. All TPP partners receive online technical support and resource access, while Gold and Platinum members also receive further sales and marketing benefits.

“The Technology Partner Portal is the key interaction tool between partners and Hikvision,” Sawyer says. “It has been designed to optimise the integration process and provide maximum exposure for partner solutions. This is where Technology Partners access support, tools and documentation, account management and marketing facilities.”

Hikvision is committed to an open platform approach. It offers both hardware platforms and software for ease of integration. This includes ISAPI, Hikvision’s hardware device application interface, designed to leverage the high quality, built in capabilities of Hikvision hardware; and Hikvision Embedded Open Platform (HEOP), which enables partners to implement their proprietary software and algorithms in Hikvision hardware.
