Business Development Manager – Electrical Channels


HIKIVISION is looking for a strong networker and established salesperson with an experienced background in the electrical wholesale market. The job holder is responsible for generating new business relationships through distributors channels (electrical wholesalers, electrical distributors) or generating demand with specialist electrical contractors whilst managing existing accounts.  



  • Establish and develop relationships with electrical wholesalers and electrical distributors, taking responsibility for driving business performance and achievement of sales targets.
  • Responsible for selling a comprehensive range of Hikvision solutions through the distribution channel via electrical wholesalers, electrical distributors, merchants & suppliers.
  • Generate demand with specialist electrical contractors, mechanical & electrical contractors, and installers.
  • Identify and analyze target market trends, competitors, end-users, and other information; provide feedback to the relevant team.
  • Engage decision-makers by using the solution selling process, business case discussion presentations and presales support activities.
  • Responsible for the management and upkeep of the accounts and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Actively report on both the sales process and customer development progress.



  • Proven track record of achieving / over-achieving sales targets.
  • Experienced in selling products directly to electrical contractors, mechanical & electrical contractors, and installers.
  • The electrical wholesale background is essential.
  • Superior communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Electrical product/security product knowledge is desirable.
  • An excellent reputation within the industry, having numerous senior contacts and connections.
  • The ability to drive new business opportunities through effective engagement with electrical wholesalers, electrical & mechanical suppliers, electrical contractors. 
  • Confident, self-motivated, and collaborative.
