Sociale verantwoordelijkheid
Hikvision ziet sociale verantwoordelijkheid als een essentieel onderdeel van haar activiteiten en management. In overeenstemming met de vereisten van de SA8000:2014-norm heeft het bedrijf een interne beheerhandleiding voor sociale verantwoordelijkheid opgesteld, die de richtlijnen biedt voor het respecteren van de rechten van de werknemers op vrije vereniging en collectieve onderhandelingen in overeenstemming met nationale wetgeving en vrijwillige voorwaarden, het beschermen van de persoonlijke informatie en privacy van de werknemers en het verbieden van alle vormen van dwangarbeid, kinderarbeid en moderne slavernij.
In juni 2017 werd Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd. gecertificeerd met de SA8000: Norm 2014, volgens een kader om zaken te doen op een manier die eerlijk en fatsoenlijk is voor werknemers en om hun naleving van hogere sociale normen aan te tonen. Daarnaast hebben Hangzhou Hikvision System Technology Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Hikvision Electronics Co., Ltd. en Chongqing Hikvision Technology Co., Ltd. ook de certificering verkregen.
