Media Foundation Plug-in is a COM component developed on the basis of the Microsoft® DirectShow® technology. It is used to extract, parse, and decode the digital audio and video signals generated by Hikvision encoding devices. After the plug-in is installed, users can use media players that support the Media Foundation Plug-in, such as the Windows Media Player, to play media file and stream data which are in Hikvision format.
