Access control through facial recognition
Face recognition technology improves efficiency in access control. Restricted areas, like offices and the laboratories, can be controlled using facial recognition technology. This means only certain people can access these areas – and the technology could also help identify those who try to access without permission.
Usually, vehicles need to obtain passes to enter campus. This method does not guarantee the safest and most accurate vehicle management as passes are just paper. With ANPR technology, however, the system can accurately distinguish between registered and guest vehicles, making the overall management more precise and efficient.
The safety of each and every student at any time, anywhere around campus is the top priority. That’s why it is important to have emergency alarm system installed all around the campus. Hikvision offers rich variety of alarm devices: pole emergency alarm equipped with PTZ camera for open areas, allowing a more comprehensive view of the scene when students call for help; smaller box panic alarm station (option of audio version or video version) that can be installed both in the hall way or other indoor areas. With these devices, security teams can receive emergency messages timely and locate students in need for help. Our emergency alarm system can also be used for public broadcast when needed.
