Hikvision has been touring Europe with a Cybersecurity Roadshow called “Cybersecurity Myths and Facts” and has met with some great feedback and interesting discussions.
The aim of the Roadshow, which was led by Chuck Davis, Hikvision’s Senior Director of Cybersecurity, was to raise awareness of key cybersecurity concerns and give tips on how to combat them. Chuck visited 6 countries across Europe in the tour, telling Hikvision’s cybersecurity story to customers and answer their questions on how best to secure their surveillance solutions.
The tour was attended by more than 500 Hikvision partners and customers in Frankfurt, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, Best, Prague, Maarssen, and finally Hoofddorp.
Chuck says: “The roadshow has been very successful. We had some great discussions around timely issues, with intelligent questions from an engaged audience.
He added: “The cybersecurity roadshow is all about education and awareness. We are in the security industry, which exists to protect people from threats. Cybersecurity is no different so we, as an industry, must learn how to protect people from both physical and cybersecurity threats since they are rapidly merging.”
