Hikvision is getting involved in the spirit of Cybersecurity Month this October, with some inspiring news and activities. The Cybersecurity team in Hikvision Europe works tirelessly to support the company and its customers in reducing cybersecurity risks.
Hikvision Europe announced that Fred Streefland has been named EMEA Cybersecurity Director. Streefland will lead and support EMEA cybersecurity programs and initiatives, as well as working with cybersecurity institutions and researchers, public authorities, local partners and other key stakeholders of the company. He will be based in the European headquarters in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands.
Hikvision has been touring Europe with a Cybersecurity Roadshow called “Cybersecurity Myths and Facts” and has met with some great feedback and interesting discussions.
Hikvision, the world’s leading provider of innovative security products and solutions, is going on a European roadshow with to raise awareness of key cybersecurity concerns and give tips on how to combat them. The roadshow will kick off in Frankfurt, Germany on September 18th and travel to seven cities in September and October, including Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki, and four cities in the Netherlands.
Hikvision released the first version of its Product Security White Paper, introducing the security challenges of IoT products and sharing Hikvision’s practices to continuously improve the security throughout the whole product lifecycle.
