Hikvision announces integration of its HikCentral Professional with Prysm Software

September 28, 2022 – Hikvision announced a collaboration with Prysm Software to integrate its HikCentral Professional (HCP) with Prysm Software's AppVision™ PSIM platform. This integration creates a seamless and unified digital tool for users to manage their security infrastructure either through AppVision™ or HCP.

Hikvision's HikCentral Professional (HCP) is a security management software that supports integration with video security devices, alarm and access control systems, and third-party systems through its OpenAPI protocols. Prysm Software's AppVision™ is also a convergent platform that supports centralized management of various security systems.

The integration enables AppVision™ users to manage all HCP-connected security components, such as cameras, recording systems, and alarm units, through a single centralized interface, which provide real-time situational awareness, instantaneous alarm reaction, and incident management. HCP users can also receive AppVision™ data and manage its integrated third-party systems. For example, through adding the AppVision™ client web pages into the HCP desktop client, HCP users can receive alarms from a variety of alarm system brands integrated with AppVision™.
