For the first time in the industry, Hikvision has used anti-corrosion aluminum to achieve comprehensive camera protection. The material has passed the NEMA 4X test and 40 hours of Neutral Salt Spray Test (simulating two years of natural corrosion in coastal environments), proving exceptional performance in harsh conditions:

Hikvision’s anti-corrosion aluminum, as a camera material, brings three advantages:

1. Interior-exterior anti-corrosion

Anti-corrosion aluminum forms an anti-corrosion system from the internal material structure to the surface, minimizing the problem of spreading corrosion caused by damage to coatings—a common failure mode that compromises entire systems when protective layers are breached.
