Beauval ZooPark in France was looking for a solution to help them look after their animals, including sea-lions and a recent panda mother as well as her cubs. The zoo is ranked the 4th most beautiful in the world, and looks after more than 35,000 animals on 40 hectares. When the time came to revamp their systems in the Park, they turned to systems integrator SRTC, who used Hikvision cameras for the task.

4 MP ColorVu Fixed Turret Network Cameras were deployed for a clear color image without disturbing the animals. 12MP Fisheye cameras were installed to provide a view of sea lions' entire resting area. PTZ 32X DarkFighterX IR Network Speed Domes deliver a full color image over long distances even in very low light conditions, allowing vets to monitor care, diet, and activity of the pandas. The cameras also help the operators to keep an eye on the cable car system, track the number of people taking the cable car every day, and improve zoo operation.
