Hikvision USA Inc., will attend the SecurityNext conference (formerly TechSec Solutions), taking place in New Orleans from Feb. 9-11, 2020. Chuck Davis, Hikvision’s senior director of cybersecurity, will participate in an educational session entitled, “Securing Profits in the Age of Convergence and Compliance,” alongside other industry security experts.
The “Securing Profits in the Age of Convergence and Compliance,” panel discussion will take place on Monday, Feb. 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Davis will join the president of Integrated Security Technologies Christine Lanning; Americas strategic alliances program owner for Milestone, Brad Eck; and moderator, Pierre Bourgeix, president of ESICOVERGENT in this educational session.

The speakers will discuss how this trend creates opportunities for consultants, integrators and manufacturers to adapt their businesses to profit and succeed in an increasingly competitive and quickly changing landscape. The session will also focus on:
- Cyber-compliance best practices for physical security providers.
- Lessons learned from the IT world and new opportunities for physical security providers.
- What the Holy Grail looks like for security, whether or not it is attainable, and what it will take to get there.
- How manufacturers are working together to create industry standards for open architectures.
