Hikvision, the world’s leading IoT solutions provider with video as its core technology, will exhibit its latest innovations in video security at SECON in Seoul, South Korea, on March 14th – 16th.
Artificial Intelligence technology has generated the most excitement in the security industry recently, and the SECON Expo is expected to reflect that trend. Hikvision will showcase its leadership in security-related AI with its latest and most advanced innovations, spotlighting its “AI Cloud” among others. Hikvision’s Turbo HD 5.0 – the latest in its world-renowned HDTVI series – will also be showcased at the exhibition.
Hikvision’s AI Cloud
Hikvision’s AI Cloud is a highly efficient distributed computing network, incorporating the advantages of both Cloud Computing and Edge Computing. This hybrid computing structure relieves concurrency stress on the cloud by moving huge amounts of data processing to AI-enabled edge devices – a more reasonable and efficient resource allocation that solves the network congestion and low reliability problems typically inherent in a conventional cloud structure.

At the exhibition, Hikvision will showcase its signature DeepinView Series IP Cameras and DeepinMind Series NVRs, as well as their latest features powered by AI technology. These products aim to tackle basic security challenges in the areas of object detection, facial recognition, and people counting, as well as human body identification.
Hikvision has already successfully applied AI technology in many vertical markets, such as Smart Cities, Intelligent Traffic Systems, and Integrated Security Solutions. At SECON, the company will introduce a complete and innovative Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) solution and demonstrate how it helps reduce traffic congestion, identify violators, and intercept suspicious vehicles – all with a smart, data-driven approach.
A successful video security operation is ultimately determined by its management platform. Hikvision will also demonstrate its video business intelligence (VBI) solution – HikCentral – which provides features such as facial recognition, people-counting, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), and access control systems integration.
Turbo HD 5.0
Hikvision will exhibit its latest product series with Turbo HD 5.0, the first time to be showcased for the public. As Hikvision’s leading series of analog products, Turbo HD 5.0 includes the front-end series cameras and back-end series DVRs. Furthermore, Turbo HD 5.0 front-end cameras are equipped with an F1.0 iris, high-sensitivity image sensor, and anti-glare supplemental lighting, resulting in colourful, bright, and accurate imaging even in low illumination.
