Every government around the world takes the safety and security of its elected representatives and personnel extremely seriously. This is certainly the case in Jordan where the 150 elected Representatives in the national parliament recently benefited from a complete upgrade of their CCTV surveillance system. The over-100-camera Hikvision system now secures all aspects of the imposing House of Representatives and its grounds and has proved a resounding success although only being allowed 3 hours’ access per day gave the installation team a bit of a headache.
